From rapid prototyping to mass manufacturing

Desktop Metal manufactures 3D printing solutions for all scales of production: from complex prototypes and on-demand tooling, to rapid manufacturing of thousands of parts.

Rapid Prototyping

You will print quickly functional prototypes and reduce product development times.

Mass production

Printing hundreds of thousands of parts without requiring any type of tool.

Manufacturing tools

Simplifies the manufacturing process and reduces time to part for final parts.

Shop System

The world’s first metal binder jetting system designed to bring metal 3D printing to machine shops. In addition to the turnkey standard system, Desktop Metal also offers the Shop System™+ and Shop System™ Pro packages for added flexibility, functionality, and value. The Shop System Forust Edition is also available for wood. The Shop System™ printer features the most advanced printhead on the market with over 70,000 nozzles jetting 1.2pL droplets at nearly 10 kHZ to achieve high resolution, 3D printed parts at a fraction of the cost of laser-based systems.¹

P-50 Printer

Production System

Designed to be the fastest way to 3D print metal parts at-scale, the P-50 leverages Desktop Metal’s patent-pending Single Pass Jetting technology and bi-directional printing to achieve speeds up to 100 times those of laser powder bed fusion technologies⁴, producing parts in volumes and at costs competitive with conventional mass production techniques. Featuring a state-of-the-art print bar with native 1200 dpi, an inert processing environment, and constant wave spreading for print bed uniformity, the P-50 offers the quality, reliability, and economics required for high-volume, end-use applications.

También disponemos de la P-1, para investigación y desarrollo de materiales

Production System P-1

Designed to bridge the gap between bench top development and mass production, the P-1 offers the same excellent part quality as the P-50 with enhanced process flexibility. Featuring a state-of-the-art print bar with native 1200 dpi, an inert processing environment, and Desktop Metal's patent-pending Single Pass Jetting technology.

The P-1 supports non-reactive and reactive materials at speeds more than 10 times those of laser powder bed fusion technologies⁴ and is capable of printing multiple builds per shift and direct process transfers to the P-50.
